Suggestions About Methods To Get Your Cupboard Handles Spotless

Have you noticed that your hand remains glued to the kitchen knob when you grab hold of it? When your hands touch a knob, a lot of bacteria, grime, and dirt travels to your hand even if the knob isn’t sticky.

Every kitchen knob needs the occasional deep cleaning. This is really quick and simple to do, just by following these steps:

First, you will want to take the knobs off from the cabinets. You should do this at the same time as your spring cleaning. To be certain of where each knob goes, mark them. As time goes on, knobs settle into a perfect fit on the cabinetry to which they are attached. It’s always a good idea to know which spaces to return the knobs to.

You can identify the which knob matches which cabinet by marking the knob at the base with a number or letter, then keep track of the numbers for later. When it is time to reassemble the cabinet knobs, it will be easy because you have marked them all.

To begin your cleaning, you’ll need to use a soap and warm water mixture or either use an anti-bacterial wipe to effectively clean the knobs. Be sure to thoroughly clean both the front and back of the knobs, including all the parts that lead up to where they attach to the cabinet. Take time and care in cleaning them.

You probably need to also pay close attention to where the knobs are affixed to the cabinets. Don’t forget these overlooked spots, as there can be years of accumulated dirt and grime hidden between the knobs and cabinet doors. Thoroughly cleaning this area is a good idea due to the number of germs that form and breed there.

Re-attach the parts after they are cleaned and dried. Screw back the clean kitchen knobs and be reassured that now, they are clean, intact and of better use to the family.
