Using Cooking Spatulas for Pancakes
How often do you make pancakes? Once a month? Once a week? Everyday? It doesn’t matter how often you make pancakes, a good cooking spatula could be a great help. What could you do with a great cooking spatula? Why do you need one?
Is a cooking spatula really that important? No. Not in the sense that you couldn’t make pancakes without one, but you would make things a lot easier for yourself if you had one and you would probably make better pancakes.
What is a cooking spatula? A lot of people think a cooking spatula is one of those things that you use to flip burgers on the grill. This isn’t technically what a spatula is. Technically speaking, those are called flippers.
A cooking spatula is what a lot of people refer to as a rubber scraper. You can use either name. Those are the spoon-like kitchen tools that you use to scrape batter out of a bowl such as when you’re making brownies.
There is some good news if you are confused. Some spatulas can be used as both a rubber scraper and a flipper. This makes for the ultimate pancake tool. You stir up the batter and get the past bit and then use the same tool to flip the pancakes.
Do you want to make some easy delicious pancakes? Whip up some batter and pour it to form pancakes on a hot griddle. Let them cook until tiny bubbles form and then flip them over with the spatula and wait until cooked.
Once they’re cooked to a golden brown, flip them onto serving plates and serve them with butter and syrup. You could also serve them with just about any other topping you think you’d like to try.
Now that you know what you need, go out, find a recipe, get the ingredients, and start cooking. Don’t wait for it to be morning and breakfast time, make pancakes and enjoy them right away!
