Review Of The Jura Impressa Z5
The flagship superautomatic espresso maker from Jura Capressa is the Jura Z5. At almost $3,000 the cost of the Jura Z5 is certainly not for everyone but the convenience and high-quality product this espresso machine provides is hard to beat.
The Jura Impressa Z5 contains many impressive features. The Jura Z5 effectively gives you the best of both worlds as it comes equipped with 8 preset beverage buttons but can also be operated manually should you wish to try something new or if you have company over. Using the rotary dial on top of the machine you can override the coffee strength; five settings ranging from extra-mild to extra-strong, and the coffee and milk volume without changing the pre-sets.
Another great feature of the Jura Impressa Z5 is the one-touch cappuccino system. A dual nozzle system with two separate outlets for milk and coffee makes it possible. The nozzle system also conveniently has a short extension for tall latte glasses and a long extension for wide cappuccino cups. It should also be mentioned that unlike many espresso machines the Jura Z5 also has height adjustable dual coffee spouts that can accommodate tall, large and small cups.
The Jura Impressa Z5 also has a larger than standard 96 ounce Water reservoir and 20 ounce insulated stainless steel milk container giving it a greater capacity than most super-automatic espresso machines. As well, the Z5 is perhaps the quietest automatic coffee center on the market today when it comes to grinding and brewing espresso. Also, the patented Clearyl filtration system found in most Jura machines contains a special organic additive that removes almost all carbon and eliminates the need to decalcify your machine.
So as you can see, the Jura Z5 takes all the guesswork out of making espresso. You really don’t need to know anything about brewing espresso in order to consistently create delicious drinks time after time.
