A Manual On How To Use Deep Fryers - Getting To Know The Two Types
It is not surprising that deep fryers are becoming increasingly popular in home kitchens and are being recommended for use by food aficionados and professional chefs nowadays. This is because fried food is among the types of dishes that most, if not all, family meals always have-and deep fryers are the best tools to use in preparing this type of food that is craved by kids and adults alike.
As was aforementioned, deep fryers are the best tools recommended by professional for use in the preparation of fried and crispy food. This is because these fryers are enclosed devices that prevent oil splashing, and thus, reducing the risks of burn incidents. Originally, these devices are only used in commercial establishments and restaurants. Today, as was aforementioned, they are becoming increasingly popular in home kitchens especially that they are also more economical compared with ordinary frying pans. They are more economical in the sense that less time and money is consumed as the fryer prevents oil splashing and hence, saving more oil which may be reused for other purposes.
Today, deep fryers, as was aforementioned, are becoming increasingly popular in homes. As such, the two general types of these fryers in the market today are home fryers and commercial fryers. As the name suggests, home fryers are designed for used in homes as they feature smaller oil capacity chambers which allow only a small amount of food to be cooked at a time. On the contrary, commercial fryers can accommodate large orders at a time as they are designed with large capacity oil chambers. As such, these types of fryers are often seen in fast foods, restaurants, and other food establishments.
Using a deep fryer is quite easy. The first step is to carefully read instructions before frying as different brands and models have different functions that are usually unique with specific models. Do not forget to check the type of oil you are using as different cooking oils need different cooking time. One needs to fill the pan in such until the max line or until the food will be immersed but will not be able to displace some of the oil.
Once the type of oil to be used is identified, said ingredient should then be heated until the desired temperature is reached before immersing the food into the deep fryer. Then, through the use slotted spoons, tongs, or basket fryers, the frying of the immersed food may begin. Experts suggest that frying of food is much faster if cooking is done in batches rather than immersing everything in the pan at once. Then, after the cooking is done, to remove excess grease, the fried food should be drained on paper towels.
It is true that fried food is one of the most popular types of food today. However, with the oil contents of these types of food, it is always recommended to consume such in moderation so as to prevent health risks. As such, regardless that the type of fryer to be used is an ordinary pan or a deep fryer, once should remember to consume fried food always in moderation.
